Think about that for a moment: there was a war that lasted 335 years, and not a single shot was fired. It begins in 1651, with a Dutch admiral arriving at a small group of islands south of Britain with one demand, and getting a reply he did not expect. From there, a chain of decisions and one small mistake turns the whole story into one of the most absurd chapters in history.
